This wasn’t your usual Sunday morning. June 8th marked the first ever auditions for So You Think You Can Dance in Toronto. Of course I had to make an appearance and cheer on some of my favorites. Ok really just one but I saw a lot of people I knew from the dance industry which made this day very entertaining. As it may be I couldn’t get a formal media pass because CTV believes we would have a conflict of interest if I reported on www.muzikmovementnewz.com the events for today. Rubbish. All that means is that my net just got bigger.

FF: When I first started Fashion Freakers I had a full-time job at Champs as a Manager. Therefore, time prohibited me from starting my own retail business. Way back in 2001 the Internet was still fresh, very few people had a website, and even less knew what they were doing. I read a lot of ecommerce magazines on how to start a successful online business part-time. One day I quit my day job and that day Fashion Freakers was born. I’ll break it down; my online business can reach anyone in any country at any time of the day. My sales do not stop when I am sick, in bed, or on vacation. I accept any currency in the world. I can also wear my pj’s in the office.

Today we talk about T.V. entertainment. Let’s face it millions of us tune in everyday to watch our favorite shows on a daily. TheMovementz understands that Reality T.V. Has been the leading force in the new wave of Media Entertainment. Starting way back with hit shows like Big Brother and a fan favorite, The Bachelor. Reality shows have dominated the airwaves in the past 8 years and it seems like the only thing on Television. What’s slightly distasteful about reality shows happens to be the lack of creativity, it’s quite amusing to see camera’s filming in shopping malls yet not one live interaction with – oh let’s call them, “Real people” or let’s get blunt and direct and call them “people with out scripts”. And you know what? that’s just it! Reality is not to be scripted, because our day to day lives is not scripted. So is it fair to really call the shows like “The Hills” a Reality show? And we really don’t want to get started on some these “follow my family around show”. Not sure how the rest of the world feels but whose tired of watching rich families being followed around while they get paid – to have us watch them? We get it already your rich, your famous your pretty darn lucky. Ok next.
Please don’t take any of this offensive… We’re just making a statement!
